This week has been a mix of big emotions and deep reflections. If you’ve been feeling the weight of it all, trust me—you’re not alone. The online world is loud right now, and with so much coming at us, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. I want to remind you: this, too, shall pass. Let yourself feel every feeling, process every thought, and then keep showing up for yourself. You are worth every bit of effort you put into becoming who you’re meant to be.
Every morning at 9 am EST, I go live on TikTok, and we’ve been diving into conversations about starting over, reinventing ourselves, and creating lives that truly feel like our own. Reinvention is empowering, yes—but it’s also tough, messy, and sometimes really uncomfortable. If you’re in a season of change, here’s what I want you to know as you move forward:
1. Embrace Change as a Friend
Instead of running from change, try seeing it as an ally. Each new chapter holds something for you, even if it’s uncomfortable at first. Growth isn’t a straight line—it’s a winding path that’s constantly guiding you toward your best self. You’re meant to shift and evolve. Lean into it.
2. Move Through Fear, Don’t Avoid It
Fear is natural, and it’s going to show up whenever you step out of your comfort zone. Let fear be a reminder that you’re pushing boundaries, that you’re moving in the direction of growth. Welcome the discomfort with curiosity. Fear doesn’t have to be a roadblock—it can be a guide to help you pay attention to what matters most.
3. Start Small, Start Simple
Sometimes, the list of things we want to change feels endless. Let’s simplify. Set small, intentional goals that help you gain momentum. Every small step is a victory. Whether it’s making a phone call, updating your resume, or just planning your week with care, each action is a piece of your transformation.
4. Reignite Your Passions
Think about what lights you up, what you love, what you dream about but maybe haven’t made time for lately. Whether it’s reading, art, learning a new skill, or even traveling—make space for those passions. Let them remind you of what makes you unique. Reconnecting with what brings you joy is a key part of finding your way forward.
5. Surround Yourself with a Loving Support System
Creating a support system isn’t just about having people around—it’s about connecting with people who get you, who light you up, and who encourage you to grow. Choose people who support your evolution, who hold you accountable, and who want to see you win. You don’t have to do this alone, and having others cheering you on can make all the difference.
6. Elevate Your Self-Care to Self-Love
Take your self-care to the next level. This isn’t just about pampering—it’s about showing up for yourself consistently and with compassion. Date yourself, create rituals that nourish you, and treat yourself with the same kindness and patience you’d give someone you love. Forgive yourself, take breaks, and don’t forget to celebrate how far you’ve come.
7. Leave the Past in the Past
Your past doesn’t define you. Each moment, you’re allowed to heal, grow, and let go of what no longer serves you. Reinvention is about giving yourself permission to move forward without carrying old narratives that don’t match who you’re becoming. You are not your past mistakes; you are the lessons you’ve learned from them.
8. Embrace the Journey with Consistency and Patience
Growth is a slow, transformative journey, not a quick fix. Celebrate each small victory, and remind yourself that change is gradual. Consistency and patience are key. Every step, no matter how small, is moving you closer to the life that’s waiting for you. Trust the process. Trust yourself.
I believe that we all need tools to help guide us along this journey. That’s why I created the Starting Over on Your Terms Guidebook—a 90+ page guide filled with exercises, journal prompts, affirmations, and actionable steps to support you through every stage of starting over. It’s a toolkit for when you’re feeling stuck, or simply ready to take the next step, designed to empower you to build a life that aligns with who you are now.
This guidebook isn’t just about setting goals—it’s about creating a roadmap that feels aligned and doable. I want you to know that you can start over at any time and that a fulfilling, authentic life is within reach. You get to decide what that looks like, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
