It’s officially Aries Season! Woot Woot!
This past Thursday, I celebrated my 44th birthday, and it was the perfect day.
The weekend prior, I partied all weekend long. I hung out with friends, danced, laughed, and everything in between. I had a great time!
On my actual birthday, I just wanted to chill and reflect on the last year of my life.
I went to First Watch for breakfast, spent the day chatting with friends, and read one of my favorite books.
That night, I went to dinner with my friends at JaJa Cleveland and had lamb chops for the first time, and they were so delicious.
My birthday was perfect!
I love how I am living my life, discovering what I enjoy, and doing it on my terms.
This is freedom.
Last year on my podcast, I started an annual tradition where I would answer reflective questions to review my year and see how much I’ve grown.
I’ll share a few of my responses, and then I would love for you to listen to this week’s episode to hear all of my responses.
How have I changed over the past year? Am I proud of the woman I’m becoming?
I have made some significant positive changes over the past year. I now feel more in tune with myself and am at peace with the woman I am becoming. I am grateful to be surrounded by people who accept me as I evolve. I love how I am true to myself and how I am pursuing my desires on my terms.
What made you feel most alive over the last year?
Being true to myself and not worrying about others' opinions, I have been sharing more personal posts on Instagram, revealing how I live my life.
What’s the biggest risk I took?
Setting boundaries with family was challenging at first because I feared their response however I had to overcome my fear and prioritize self-care. Best decision ever!
What’s the best advice I received?
My therapist once said that no matter what, the world keeps spinning. And she’s right. Life goes on, and I am learning to adapt.
What do I need to do to spark my creativity this year?
I am going to create a new vision board. Much of what I thought I wanted has changed as I have grown and healed.
What are the best books I’ve read this year?
Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan
The Reel by Kennedy Ryan
This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan
You can see who my favorite author is right now. Kennedy truly has a gift and she writes in a way that you’re going to read everything in her catalog.
What did this year teach me?
I learned how not to abandon myself. There were many moments where I put myself last to please others and I no longer do that. I am grateful for this lesson.
If you want to hear all of my responses, listen to this week’s episode of my podcast.
I’ve learned so much about myself over the last year and I am looking forward to what's to come. The one thing I continue to say is that my life is going to get sweeter and sweeter and how I love it here.
I’ve been asked for my cash app and Zelle so if you want to support me in any way, THANK YOU in advance.

Happy Belated Birthday!
I did a photo shoot for my 40th birthday. Then my world fell apart. For 41 and 42 I did boudoir photos and loved it. Not sure what I'll do this year, but photos will likely be involved somehow.
Happy belated! That line on not abandoning yourself is beautiful.
